Striker still at Town but won't feature for first-team
The former Southampton and Newcastle striker signed a contract until the end of the season in August after impressing on trial.
He has made 12 appearances, with the last one coming in the FA Cup defeat at Lincoln but he won’t be adding to that the Town boss told the Club website.
“Leon is still at the Club but I have told him he won’t play for me again,” said Mick.
“I took him on when we lost Murph [Daryl Murphy]. He came in and trained really well. He impressed everyone.
“He was in the right place at the right time but he has not done it since though.
“That is my view. I’m sure Leon has a different one. Football is all about opinions but it’s mine that counts here.
“I told him after the Lincoln game that he is not part of my plans here. He’s still with us and may have to have something done with his groin. We will see but he won’t be playing for us.”
