Boss to add Moore to squad but Blues knocked back so far on seven figure targets

Mick McCarthy will add Kieffer Moore to his squad and has said that Town have a number of £1 million plus bids in for players.

The 24-year-old striker is set to join from Forest Green Rovers in an 18 month deal with the move to be completed at the start of next week.

“Kieffer will be joining us,” the Town boss told Ipswich Player HD.

“He impressed when we played against Yeovil a few years back but after that he went off the radar a bit.

“He’s big and strong, and is quick enough and will be a good asset to the squad.

“We’ve got bids in  for a number of other players, good bids as well, £1million plus bids but we’ve not had any joy at the moment.

“Some clubs don’t want to sell their players for one reason or another. I understand that.

“We are definitely trying to buy players and we will keep trying. It’s just at the moment, we are not having any joy.”
