Defender issues reminder to his Town teammates as The Blues look book their place in the fourth round and sidestep a potential cup shock at the hands of The Imps
Adam Webster insists Town will be 'prepared' for the visit of Conference leaders Lincoln to Portman Road, as the Blues look to avoid an FA Cup upset.
Danny Cowley's Imps take on The Blues on Saturday (3pm KO) in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup, with Town looking for better fortunes than last season's exploits, where a Portsmouth side including Adam Webster knocked Mick McCarthy's side out at this stage of the competition.
"These games are always difficult, and obviously I was part of it last year [coming to Portman Road with Portsmouth]," the 22 year-old told Ipswich Player HD.
"It was like a cup final for us that day so it won't be any different for Lincoln and it won't be an easy game at all, especially with it being in the FA Cup.
"It also gives players the chance to impress on a bigger stage and I know that it was while playing at Portman Road last year that I first caught the eye of the gaffer here so they will definitely be upping their game with the chance of being looked at by big clubs.
"We know that, though, so we will be prepared."
