TOWN LAND DOMINIC IORFA ON LOAN

14 July 2017

Mick McCarthy adds exciting England U21 talent to his ranks as he shapes his squad ahead of the new campaign

Town have added Dominic Iorfa  to the squad on a season-long loan deal from Wolves.

The England U21 international has agreed to the Portman Road switch after passing a medical at Town this afternoon.

Dominic Iorfa signs on the dotted line

Mick McCarthy has moved quickly to replace Josh Emmanuel, who joined Rotherham yesterday on loan, with Iorfa now set to battle it out with Jordan Spence for the right-back berth at Town.

The 22 year-old began his career in the Academy at Southend, before joining Wolves as a 15 year-old. He has gone on to feature heavily at Molineux since breaking into the team in 2013.

The right-back helped Wolves earn promotion to the Championship under Kenny Jackett but since the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo this summer, he has been told he can move on loan to aid his development.

A full interview with the new Blue will be available on iFollow Ipswich later today.
