Legendary Entertainer Rocks Portman Road
Portman Road joined Watford's Vicarage Road and Wembley as the only stadiums to welcome Elton John more than once on Saturday as the legendary entertainer returned for the first time since 2004.
Elton's support act, Jake Isaac kicked things off with an energetic performance before the 70-year old took to the stage.
He certainly didn't disappoint his thousands of fans that had turned as he performed such classics as 'Rocket Man', 'Crocodile Rock', 'Your Song' and the particularly apt 'I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues', among many others.
The singer paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the terrorist attcks in Manchester and London as well as those who were affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy by dedictaing a performance of his song 'I Want to Love' to them.
His uninterrupted two-hour set featured hits from his most recent album, 'Wonderful Crazy Night' before closing with the evergreen 'Candle in the Wind'.
