Joe Garner - 29 - Striker
- Started his career as a trainee with Blackburn Rovers, his hometown club, before joining Carlisle United firstly on loan in January 2007 before making it permanent the following summer.
- Scored his first ever league goal for Carlisle United against Yeovil Town. Carlisle were beaten 4-1 and former Blues striker Leon Best grabbed a double.
- Has since amassed 111 goals in his entire career.
- Joins off the back of one season with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, where he scored 10 goals in all competitions.
- Scored against Celtic in an Old Firm Derby as well as a hat-trick against Hamilton Academical last term.
- Scored a hat-trick against Town for Preston in the FA Cup in the 13/14 season
- Was part of the Preston North End team that won the 2015 Football League One play-off Final at Wembley
- Played with new team-mates, David McGoldrick and Luke Chambers during his time with Nottingham Forest
- Has also had spells with Huddersfield, Scunthorpe and Watford.
- Was awarded the 'Goal of the Year' in the 2014/15 Season for Preston for his wonderstrike against Rotherham United, as well as collecting the League One Player of the Year.
- The frontman has represented England at Under-19 Level, where he played alongside former Town man, Paul Anderson.
