Blues 'keeper, Dean signs up until 2019
Dean Gerken has signed a new contract at Portman Road that will extend his stay with the Club for a further two years.
The 'keeper, who joined in 2013 on a free transfer following his release from Bristol City, is now under contract at Portman Road until 2019.
Town had previously taken up the option on Dean's contract after it was due to expire at the end of last season, but have now replaced that with fresh terms.
The former Darlington and Colchester man has made 92 appearances for the Blues so far and saved a penalty in his most recent appearance, denying Danny Ward in the 1-0 defeat against Rotherham in April.
He played five times throughout the 2016/17 campaign, and will again challenge Bartosz Bialkowski to be Mick McCarthy's first-choice goalkeeper this coming season.
