Berra in action for Scotland and Andre on international duty as well

Christophe Berra won his 35th cap for Scotland in their draw with Canada.

The Town defender played the full 90 minutes at Hibs’ Easter Road as Gordon Strachan’s side were forced to settle for a 1-1 scoreline in a friendly.

Christophe was one of several Scotland players to have kept their place from the team that lost to England 3-0 in their 2018 World Cup qualifier at Wembley in November.

The Scots face a crucial qualifier against Slovenia on Sunday at Hampden Park.

Meanwhile Andre Dozzell won his seventh cap for England U18s in their 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia in Doha. Fellow Blue, Tristan Nydam, was among the unused substitutes.

The young Lions are in Qatar to play three friendlies, the second of which is against the hosts on Friday.
