Contract until 2019 for young Blues as he targets continued progress

Myles Kenlock has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2019.

The 20-year-old defender, who would have been out of contract at the end of this season, put pen to paper on the deal this afternoon, which also includes a year option on top.

Myles made his debut for Blues at the end of last season and has gone on to clock up 16 appearances for the Club.

“Obviously I am delighted to have signed a new contract here,” the left-sided player told the Club website.

“I feel I have made a lot of progress this year and it’s been great to have been involved in the first-team squad regularly and playing games in the Championship.

“I know that I have still got a lot to learn in the game but this is a great club to be learning at and I want to keep moving forward.”

Meanwhile Town's U23 lost 4-1 at Huddersfield this afternoon. Shane McLoughlin scored Blues’ goal
