I’ll look at doing something different with the team when the time is right says Mick
Blues are nine points clear of the drop zone with 10 games remaining following the goalless draw with Wolves last night, a result that stretched Blues’ unbeaten run to seven games.
“I will still be looking below until we know we are in the Championship again next season,” the Town boss told the Club website.
“When we get into that position when we can look forward to next year, then I’ll look at doing something different with the team, certainly giving some of the youngsters a go.
“Danny Rowe has impressed everyone in training and he’s waiting for his chance. We should have Dominic Samuel back by then. Andre Dozzell, certainly, could come back in. The system we are playing now would suit him. Tristan Nydam is another.
“It’s important when the young players come in towards the end of the season, that they show they can cope with the level they will be playing at.
“You can never be sure until they are out there on the pitch but Tristan has impressed me in training and playing for the U23s. He’s a good player. One for the future.
“There maybe others that will get their chance but I want to be in a position where we know where we are next season first.”
