Town's Club mascot is getting on his bike to help raise funds for Home-start, East Suffolk
Club mascot Crazee is once again getting on his bike to raise money for a local charity, as he looks to cycle a 15 mile route on Sunday 25th June at the Orwell walk and ride event.
Last year, Crazee raised money for EACH and he is again supporting a local charity by raising funds for Home-start, East Suffolk.
In an ideal world, Home-start wouldn’t be needed. But for many parents the pressures of family life are simply too much to cope with alone. There are so many reasons for this including poverty, illness, family breakdowns, isolation, addiction and physical and mental health issues.
And this is where Home-Start steps in, which aims to give children the best possible start in life. They support parents to grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children, improve their health and wellbeing and widen their links locally.
Apart from his matchday duties at Portman Road, Crazee has also raised a few pounds for local charities in the past by zipwiring down the pitch at Portman Road, sitting on all 30,130 seats in the stadium and taking part in numerous Sport Relief walks and Orwell Cycle rides.
So please help Crazee, and also Home-start, by making a donation. No matter how big or small, every contribution is truly welcomed.
