Town midfielder 'gutted' with late Owls leveller

Emyr Huws felt that Town deserved all three points against Sheffield Wednesday at Portman Road this evening, as the Welshman made his first appearance of the season.

The Owls grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser to take a point back to Hillsborough, but the Blues midfielder was pleased to put a 'nightmare' period behind him, despite being disappointed with the result.

"I think that's how football is sometimes, and we're gutted, obviously," he told the Club website after the game.

"The performance was good and we deserved three points but we've got to see the game out better and I'm just gutted, to be honest.

"It's been a long, long time coming so I'm chuffed to be back. I'm feeling good so hopefully I can kick-on.

"It's been a nightmare this last few months so hopefully that's all behind me now."
