Midfielders to get the chance to play over hectic two weeks

Teddy Bishop and Emyr Huws will play a part over Town's next four matches having recovered from injury, Mick McCarthy confirmed.

Neither of the midfield duo have made an appearance for the Blues' first-team so far this season, although have appeared for the U23s as they looked to build up fitness before making their return to Championship football.

"Huws and Bishop are in the squad [for tomorrow's game against Sheffield Wednesday]," Mick told iFollow Ipswich.

"They'll get some game time, I think, over the next four games, whether it's on Wednesday night or not.

"We'll wait and see, but I think they feel better about it now, just being in the squad and knowing they've got a chance on playing.

"Technically and ability-wise they're ready, but this isn't a 60 by 40 game or a box-to-box game, this is Sheffield Wednesday at home in the Championship - there's a big different."
