Blues midfielder delighted to sign a contract extension at Portman Road
Tristan Nydam says he is “buzzing” after putting pen to paper on a contract extension at Portman Road this afternoon.
The young midfielder, who celebrated his 18th birthday on Monday, signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Town, keeping him at the Club until 2021 - with the option of a further year.
“I’m absolutely buzzing” Tristan told iFollow Ipswich.
“I’ve been at the Club since I was nine years old and this extension is great for me and shows the hard work has paid off.
“The gaffer has put his trust in me and I can’t be more thankful for that.
“It’s been a decent season for me so far. I’ve adjusted fairly well to the Championship and I’m training well so I just need to keep going.
“I feel good and this is where I want to be.”
