Town push leaders all the w

A late flurry from league leaders Palace condemned Town to defeat.

Blues missed a penalty in the first-half and the teams were level at the break. The deadlock was finally broken on the hour mark when Tariq Ossai headed the hosts in front.

Blues responded well and played some good football but were unable to break the Palace defence and conceded a second through Joseph Hungbo with 11 minutes remaining.

And the result was confirmed when the Eagles netted their third two minutes from time, Francis Baptiste poking home a free-kick to seal the three points.
