Mick, staff and players join guests on the green
The rain certainly didn’t dampen the spirits out on the Gainsborough Course on Wednesday at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club.
Mick McCarthy, his coaching staff and Town players past and present joined golfers as they took to the greens for the Club’s autumn Golf Day.
The 18-hole, Stableford Competition, which teed-off at 11am, was enjoyed by all. A live scoring system kept the teams up-to-date on who was in the lead, which at times proved to be extremely close.
“It was a fantastic day and everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves despite the weather,” Rosie Richardson, ITFC director of sales, told the Club website.
“Our special thanks go to all of our sponsors, including Ipswich Audi, Procurus/Harrison C White, Vertas, The Brudenell, Greene King, Aspall and the East of England Co-op.
“GDScore Live Golf Scoring provided an excellent scoring system, which proved very popular.
