Adeyemi set to miss out but Emyr closing in on return
Tom Adeyemi is a major doubt for Saturday’s trip to Burton but there is good news on Emyr Huws.
Wales international Emyr has not figured for Town since his summer arrival after sustaining an achilles injury but is closing in on a return.
“Unfortunately Tom felt his hamstring again, so it’s very unlikely he’ll be involved at the weekend,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told iFollow Ipswich.
“But Emyr has trained with us this week. He’s doing well and is feeling good.
“Hopefully he’ll be out playing with the U23s next week. If that goes to plan we’ll go from there.”
