Blues defender happy with start to life in Suffolk
Town defender Dominic Iorfa says he is encouraged by the Club’s start to the season.
The summer arrival is a versatile option for manager Mick McCarthy, and played in multiple positions in the 2-0 win over Bolton.
Cole Skuse scored his first goal since April 2015, and David McGoldrick netted late on to secure all three points at Portman Road.
“It was a good win,” Iorfa told iFollow Ipswich.
“We’d lost two in a row so it was important we got back to winning ways.
“It was more about the result than the performance but we were good in the second-half.
“If you’d offered us 15 points at this stage of the season we’d have taken it no doubt.”
Iorfa began the game as part of a back three, but shifted out to the right after half-time.
“At the moment I’m happy to play anywhere,” he said.
“I’ve shown my versatility recently and I’m happy to play wherever the manager wants me to.
“I have no preference at the moment but in the future I’d like to settle down as a centre back.
“Now we have to take this confidence into a tough Leeds game next weekend.”
