Young defender pens a new deal at Portman Road
Luke Woolfenden has signed a new contract at Portman Road, keeping him at Portman Road until 2019 with the option of a further 12 months.
The defender signed his first professional contract in the summer, but after impressing in the early part of the season, he has been rewarded with fresh terms.
The 18-year old made his professional debut in the Carabao Cup victory over Luton Town at Kennilworth Road earlier in the season, before making his first start in the following round against Crystal Palace.
He has also been a regular on the bench for the Blues so far this season, but is yet to make his Championship debut.
