Ward can see why Blues lead the goalcharts
Grant Ward believes it’s no surprise Town are the Championship’s top scorers this season considering the attacking talent in the side.
Town put five past Sunderland at Portman Road to take the tally to 19 in the league this term.
Martyn Waghorn, Jordan Spence, Bersant Celina and David McGoldrick found the net before Grant sealed the 5-2 win for Mick McCarthy’s side with a fine finish from a narrowing angle.
“We’re scoring goals from all over the pitch,” he told iFollow Ipswich.
“It’s not just a lot of goals but a variety too so of course that’s encouraging.
“I was happy with mine. It was a great ball from Didz and when he’s on the ball you know anything can happen.
“We need to watch out at the other end a little bit but it’s looking good so far and hopefully we can take that into the Bristol City game.”
