Hard work showed in Villa draw says Trev
Goalscorer Trevoh Chalobah believes Town’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa showed the hard work Blues had been putting in during pre-season and training.
Paul Hurst’s side played more than 50 minutes with 10 men following Tayo Edun’s dismissal, but dug in to earn their second point of the Championship campaign.
“We really dug in and you could see how hard we worked to get a deserved point,” the Chelsea loanee told iFollow Ipswich.
“Towards the end you could see we were a man down but I think all of the hard work from pre-season and training showed in that performance.
“Personally it was a great feeling to get my first professional goal but the most important thing was that we got something from the game.
“We’ve had a couple of days to recover but we’ll be ready for another tough game away to Derby tomorrow.”
