Defender in season long deal as Town make it 12 signings under Paul
Town have signed Everton defender Matthew Pennington on a season long loan.
The 23-year-old defender is set to train with his new team-mates tomorrow and will be avaiable for the derby against Norwich.
He has also had loan spells at Walsall, Coventry and Tranmere and spent last season on loan at Leeds, making 24 Championship appearances.
The Warrington-born player’s arrival takes Paul Hurst’s signings to 12 since he was appointed Town boss at the end of May.
Matthew has been handed the number five shirt.
