Paul not expecting any late additions before window closes
Paul Hurst says he’s not expecting to add to his squad before the transfer window closes at 5pm but has been delighted with the business done.
Kayden Jackson became Blues’ ninth signing under Paul’s tenure when he
joined the Club from Accrington in a three year deal this morning.
“I don’t think there will be anymore business before the first window closes today,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.
“We have got Kayden over the line and there was a lot of hard work that went into that deal and I’m delighted we have got it done.
“I don’t see any Sky Sports reporters outside our training ground so that probably tells you the story - but you never know in football.
“Overall I think we’ve had a pretty productive transfer window. We’ve brought in more players than we first envisaged we’d be able to.
“Obviously that’s on the back of a couple of sales, but I think we’ve used that money to strengthen the squad as a whole.”
Town will have until August 31 to use the loan window.
