Red card appeal rejected
Town’s appeal against Toto Nsiala’s red card has been rejected by an Independent Regulatory Commission.
The central defender was dismissed by referee Jeremy Simpson for a challenge on Fernando Forestieri as Paul Hurst’s side fell to a 2-1 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday.
The 26-year-old will miss Blues’ next three Championship games including the East Anglian derby at Portman Road on Sunday.
He will also miss the trip to Hull after the international break as well as the home game against Brentford at Portman Road on September 18.
