Blues in a bid to rescind three game suspension
Town are appealing against the red card given to Toto Nsiala in Saturday’s defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.
The defender was dismissed on 75 minutes for what was deemed by referee Jeremy Simpson as a foul on Owls’ Fernando Forestieri.
After the game, Town boss Paul Hurst indicated the Club would be appealing, telling the Club website: “Toto wins the ball. I don’t know what he is meant to do. It’s not his fault if Forestieri wants to run into him.”
The appeal will be heard by a Football Association Regulatory Commission this week. Toto faces a three game ban if the red card is not rescinded, meaning he will miss the games against Norwich, Hull and Brentford.
