Trev in Young Lions squad for friendlies next month
Blues midfielder Trevoh Chalobah has been named in England’s U20 squad for their upcoming friendlies against Switzerland and Netherlands.
The Chelsea loanee has previously turned out for the Three Lions at youth level from U16 to U19, though this is his first call up to the U20 side.
He was also part of the squad that won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship along with Town teammates Andre Dozzell and Tayo Edun in 2017.
Trevoh, 19, has been involved in every game for Blues so far this term, and netted his first professional goal in the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa at Portman Road earlier this month.
England face Switzerland at St Georges Park on Thursday, September 6 (KO 2pm BST) before taking on the Netherlands in Katwijk (KO 7pm BST) four days later.
Blues' Dylan Crowe has also been named in the England U18 squad for three Limoges Tournament matches against Netherlands, Russia and France next month.
