Blues midfielder on Potters defeat
Trevoh Chalobah insisted that Town will remain confident about avoiding relegation this term, despite being eight points adrift from safety after a 2-0 defeat against Stoke City this aftenoon.
Strikes from Tom Ince and Joe Allen did the damage for the Potters at the bet365 stadium, but Trevoh agreed with Blues boss Paul Lambert that it was a performance to build on for Town.
"The result obviously wasn't what we wanted but we held our own against players that have played at the highest level," the central midfielder told iFollow Ipswich.
"Their goal just before half-time was a big blow but we didn't let our heads drop because we had been playing well.
"The manager has given us a plan for every game we've gone into and again you could see that today.
"He's brought confidence into the team and that's still there. We need to stick together and the results should come."
