Skipper on Boro defeat

Luke Chambers said Town need to be more ruthless in matches following a 2-0 loss to Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium.

Goals in either half did the damage for the hosts as Jordan Hugill converted from the penalty spot in the 37th minute before Marcus Tavernier fired in 18 minutes from time.

"Every mistake we make at the moment is being punished," Chambo told iFollow Ipswich.

"The way we're playing is still encouraging, though, and it's enjoyable to be a part of.

"Yes it's a results business but we can't continue playing the way we are and not pick up good results.

"We need to be more ruthless when we are on top in games and have more belief in attacking areas."
