Goalscorer on draw with Blades

Ellis Harrison is hoping that Town's point in the 1-1 draw with Sheffield United proves to be a valuable one come the end of the season.

The striker netted for Blues seven minutes before half-time, but Billy Sharp's header shortly after the restart meant the spoils were shared at Portman Road.

"Overall I think that's a good point," Ellis told iFollow Ipswich.

"The boys at the back defended brilliantly and although Sheffield United had a lot of the ball I think we looked dangerous on the break.

"I'm pleased to get on the score sheet and most importantly that the goal helped us pick up a good result.

"Results elsewhere today went our way as well but we'll just keep trying to do our bit and hopefully that's a valuable point come the end of the season.

"We're two games unbeaten now and we need to take that momentum into a tough trip to QPR on Boxing Day."
