Four second-half strikes send Blues through
Town progressed to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup with a 4-0 win over Andover Town.
Armando Dobra, Kai Brown, Tommy Hughes and Harley Curtis found the net as Adem Atay's side cruised to victory at Portman Road.
Andover put in a resilient first-half performance as the sides entered the break level, but a dominant display from Blues after the restart put the game well out of reach for the visitors.
Dobra struck first with a close-range finish before Brown stepped up to convert a penalty he had won in the 59th minute.
Hughes added a third with a smart first-time effort and substitute Curtis made it four with a neat header 13 minutes from time.
Andover almost netted a consolation in the final moments but Luke Rae's drive from distance flew just over Toby Egan's crossbar.
The draw for the fourth round will be made on Friday (December 7) and the tie will be played in January.
Town: Egan, Ronan, Smith, Scott (Healy 58'), Clements (C), Vega, Foudil (Curtis 75'), El Mizouni, Brown (Simpson 66), Hughes, Dobra.
