'I’m convinced it will turn and when this Club gets going, it will be a fun ride.'

Paul Lambert says Town have to improve the form at home but is confident that will happen.

Blues host Wigan and Sheffield United in successive weeks before Christmas, having won only twice at home in 2018.

“The foundations for any successful season are built on your home form so it’s clear we have to improve in that area,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.

“I don’t know what when on before but what I do know is that if the players keep performing the way they have done since I’ve been here, things will turn for us. I’m certain of it.

“The players know that as well. They know they are playing well. That’s why the training ground is upbeat. It’s not normal that. When you are at the bottom, things are normally low. “If you get the performance levels right, then the results will follow. I’m convinced they will and when this Club gets going, it will be a fun ride.”
