Paul looks for Blues to stay in hunt before January help arrives
Paul Lambert says he sees Town in a seven team league to beat the drop.
Blues are seven points adrift of safety after Lewis Grabban struck twice to give Nottingham Forest a 2-0 win over Blues at the City Ground.
“It knocked us back a bit and the second goal was poor. We were better in the second-half and made a fist of it.
“We could have wilted but we kept going and again the players gave everything but mistakes are killing us.
“I think we are in a seven team league. We have to get through to January and stay in touch and then we need a little bit of help then.
“If we keep that spirit and stick together then we’ll be in that fight to finish above the line for sure.”
