'Six-pointer' at Portman Road says Blues defender

Matt Pennington is viewing Town's clash with Millwall on New Year's Day as a six-pointer.

Blues head into 2019 at the foot of the Championship table, while the Lions sit three points above the relegation zone in 20th going into tomorrow's match at Portman Road.

"Millwall is a huge game, a six-pointer if you like," Matt said.

"We're a more well-oiled team than when we faced them earlier in the season, though, and our home form has improved recently so we need to take that into tomorrow.

"Obviously we were looking to kick on after the win against Wigan, that didn't happen but these next few games are crucial and give us a chance to pick up some good results - starting with Millwall.

"With it being at Portman Road hopefully the fans will get right behind us, as they have done all season, and we can get a vital win."
