Bersant on how his loan move has made him a better player
Bersant Celina believes his time with Mick McCarthy and Town has made him a more complete footballer.
The Manchester City loanee has been an attacking threat for Town with eight goals to his name this season but has highlighted how he’s benefited at the other end of the pitch.
“My time with Ipswich has helped me improve as an all-round player,” the Kosovo international told the matchday programme.
“I’ve learned a lot defensively, not that I didn’t know anything about that side of things but I’m actually doing it now.
“Mick is a great man-manager who has helped me a lot. I think he’s different to Pep Guardiola but not too different to Manuel Pellegrini [former Manchester City boss].
“He’s someone that knows the ins and outs of football and has seen everything. I listen to him in training and everything he tells me I try and take it in.”
