Last time we met: Cardiff 3-1 Town 31.10.17
Bersant Celina netted a consolation as Cardiff beat Blues 3-1 back in October. Junior Hoilett’s volley gave the hosts an early lead and Omar Bogle doubled their advantage just after half-time. Celina struck in the 90th minute to give Mick McCarthy’s side a glimmer of hope but less than a minute later Danny Ward fired in to secure all three points for Neil Warnock’s men.

Previous meetings at Portman Road:
10.12.16 Town 1-1 Cardiff
31.10.15 Town 0-0 Cardiff
14.04.15 Town 3-1 Cardiff
06.10.12 Town 1-2 Cardiff
18.02.12 Town 3-0 Cardiff

One to watch: Junior Hoilett
Hoilett has been a constant threat for the Bluebirds this season and netted in the 1-1 draw away to Millwall earlier this month. The Canadian international has eight goals and eight assists to his name this term.

Could be the difference: Neil Warnock
Cardiff boss Warnock boasts an impressive record against Town having won eight of his last 10 meetings against Blues. Time for that record to end tonight.
