Midfielder looks to right a few wrongs at Carrow Road

Cole Skuse says Sunday’s derby provides a good opportunity for the team to put the disappointment of last weekend’s performance against Burton behind them.

Town travel to Carrow Road for the midday kick-off ahead of Norwich in the Championship table on goal difference, with both clubs eight points adrift of the Play-Off places.

“We knew coming off the pitch last weekend that the performance was nowhere near good enough and we hold our hands up to that,” the midfielder told iFollow Ipswich.

“You could argue that we couldn’t have a better fixture to go into knowing that we need to amend last week’s display.

“It’s a huge game and it gives us an opportunity to put right everything that went wrong against Burton.

“We are both in the middle of the table and if we want to stay in touch with the top six, then it’s a game both clubs need to win. And of course there is the extra edge of beating your local rivals.”
