Last time we met: Leeds 3-2 Town 23.09.17
Leeds took the spoils with a 3-2 win at Elland Road when the sides last met in September. Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Kalvin Phillips were on target for the hosts while David McGoldrick and Joe Garner netted for Blues. The crucial moment came in the 67th minute when Town ‘keeper Bartosz Bialkowski diverted in Pablo Hernandez’ corner.

Previous meetings at Portman Road:
30.03.14 Town 3-0 Leeds
24.08.13 Town 1-2 Leeds
06.12.14 Town 4-1 Leeds
12.01.16 Town 2-1 Leeds
18.02.17 Town 1-1 Leeds

One to watch: Pablo Hernandez
Hernandez has been directly involved in 10 goals for Leeds this season and was on the score sheet in his side’s last win at Burton on Boxing Day. With Samuel Saiz suspended for six matches, former Valencia and Swansea City man Hernandez is regarded as The Whites’ most creative player and could line up in the number 10 role at Portman Road.

Could be the difference: Cup bounce back
Following a shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Newport County last time out, Leeds will be desperate to bounce back with a league win against Town. Mick McCarthy’s Blues will be equally determined to end a run of three defeats on the spin, including last weekend’s cup exit to Sheffield United.
