Bids turned down by Club as 'keeper commits to Town for another three years
Bartosz Bialkowski has given Town fans a boost by signing a new three year contract.
The Poland international, who has just returned from the World Cup, has completed the paperwork in a deal that will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2021, with a year option on top.
Revealing the news to the Club website, Town owner Marcus Evans also confirmed there had been interest in Bart from other clubs before he committed his long term future to Blues.
“We did receive bids for Bart but they were rejected very quickly,” said Marcus.
“It was always my intention to try and keep him at this football club. Bart made it clear he wanted to stay as well but it was important to reach an agreement that was right for all parties.
“I’m delighted - and I’m sure the supporters are as well - that we have been able to do that.”
