Town striker eager for the season to begin following pre-season training camp in Spain
Blues forward Freddie Sears says he's looking forward to playing games again with pre-season friendlies just around the corner.
Town have been out in Alicante for the past week, and the striker feels as if the trip has helped prepared the players for the season ahead.
"Obviously the new gaffer has come in with new ideas and the new staff also have new ideas," Freddie told iFollow Ipswich.
"It's been a good week. We've done a lot of different stuff, a lot more hard work, more stuff in the gym but I think everyone has felt the benefits from it."
"Week one and week two are normally pretty tough and week one was a really tough week. I'm just looking forward to the games now.
Once the games come around it calms down a little bit and then you get back into the match rythm of playing 45, 60, 90 minutes and then you're ready for the first game of the season."
