'I think it will give everyone a boost if we could get some more players through the door'
Paul Hurst told the Club website that Town have offers in for players after watching Blues beat Barnet at The Hive.
Myles Kenlock’s strike midway through the second-half was enough to separate the sides.
“I hope it’s going to be a busy two weeks before the Blackburn game,” the Town boss told iFollow.
“I think today showed that we are lacking numbers and quality in certain areas. It’s not helped by the injuries - that we have inherited really.
“I think it will give everyone a boost if we could get some more players through the door.
“It does feel the market has been pretty slow. I’m not sure if it’s because of the World Cup or what but we are working hard and there are offers out there. We’ve got to see which ones fall first and take it from there.”
On the game, Paul added: “There were some positives out there. I want to get in the habit of winning games and we’ve done that.
“There are still lots of things I feel we can do better, need to do better but it’s pre-season and however much you say to players, there is still that extra edge that will be missing until the league gets up and running, the crowds come in and there are points to play for.”
