Posh midfielder becomes third summer signing

Town have completed the signing of Welsh winger, Gwion Edwards, for an undisclosed fee from Peterborough United.

The 25-year-old signed a two-year deal at Portman Road, with Blues having the option of a further year.

Gwion, who is a product of the Swansea City academy, previously turned out for St Johnstone and Crawley Town before spending two seasons with Peterborough.

Last season with Posh he went up against Paul Hurst’s Shrewsbury twice, scoring once in a 3-1 defeat in Shropshire.

And now he becomes Paul’s third signing for Blues following the arrivals of Jordan Roberts and Trevoh Chalobah last month.
