England's World Cup opener to be shown in the FanZone

Town will be showing England’s opening game of the 2018 World Cup on a giant screen in the FanZone.

Gareth Southgate’s side face Tunisia on Monday, June 18 with a 7pm kick-off.

It will be free entry to the FanZone on the night, with gates opening at 5.30pm. 

Food will be available to purchase with burgers, hot dogs, bacon burgers and chips on offer.

Between 5.30pm & 6.30pm it's happy hour with Fosters, Aspall, East Coast IPA & Guinness available for £3 per pint. 

“We are all getting behind England for the World Cup and hopefully there will be a great atmosphere in the FanZone for the match against Tunisia,” Town  MD, Ian Milne, told the Club website.

England’s other group games are against Panama on Sunday, June 24, with a 1pm kick-off and Belgium on Thursday, June 28 at 7pm. 

We will be joined in the FanZone by Town legends John Wark and Mick Stockwell who will provide pre-match analysis on the game.

Town are represented in the finals in Russia by goalkeeper Bart Bialkowski, who is in the Poland squad and Denmark’s Jonas Knudsen.
