Signing session and loads of fun activities for free at Portman Road on July 26

Town’s popular Open Day at Portman Road will be held on Thursday, July 26 this year.

Supporters will get a chance to watch new boss Paul Hurst and assistant Chris Doig put the players through their paces in a training session on the main pitch as a new era at the Club gets underway.

As usual, there will also be a signing session with the first-team squad plus a full range of fun activities for the young and the not so young in the FanZone.

Club mascots Bluey and Crazee are likely to take on all-comers in the mascot race, with youngsters able to take part in fun footie coaching sessions as well.

Entry, as always is free, with food and drink available to purchase. Full details of the activities will follow nearer the time, along with confirmation of when gates open, which is likely to be around 9.30am, with the event running until around 2pm.

There were close on 5000 at last year’s Open Day, with the event proving hugely popular over a number of years.
