Last time we met: Town 1-3 Bristol City 30.09.17
Bristol City took the spoils when the sides last met in September. Josh Brownhill gave the visitors the perfect start when his deflected strike wrong-footed Bartosz Bialkowski in just the second minute. The Robins then doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark when Famara Diedhiou headed in Jamie Paterson’s cross. Town reduced the deficit before half-time when Martyn Waghorn superbly fired in off the crossbar but eight minutes from time the result was put beyond doubt as Bobby Reid scored with a deflected effort off Jonas Knudsen.
