Blues defender called up on international duty
Jonas Knudsen has been called up to the Danish squad for their upcoming friendlies against Panama and Chile.
The defender, who already has two full caps to his name, will join up with the squad following Saturday's game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate as the Danes take on Panama in Brøndbyvester on the 22nd of March before facing Chile in Aalborg on the 27th.
Jonas was called up to the squad for the 5-1 aggregate World Cup Play-Off win over Ireland in November, although he was an unused subtitute in both matches, and will look to impress boss Åge Hareide in order to earn a place in the Danish squad for this summer's tournament in Russia.
The left-back missed Saturday's 0-0 draw with Sheffield United due to injury, but is in contention to return against Hull City at Portman Road this evening.
