United backing for Mick across Club says Skuse
Cole Skuse says the support for manager Mick McCarthy goes far beyond the players at Town.
The midfielder is desperate to shake off a hamstring problem and play against his former club Bristol City on Saturday as Blues look to bounce back from the midweek home defeat by Hull.
“I felt for the players and the manager on Tuesday night. That was a horrible atmosphere to play in and to watch,” Cole told iFollow Ipswich.
“When we come into the training ground, we walk past the manager’s office and he will always shake your hand and wish you well.
“That’s the man he is and he has helped create a real togetherness around the place. That’s not just in the dressing-room but around the Club. All the staff are supportive of him - players, the Academy, groundstaff, the office staff. Everyone.
“I have been here five years now and in all that time I have probably heard one or two players come in and moan about the manager. I have only only played for two clubs but I can tell you that is pretty unusual in football.
“There are a lot of players in the dressing-room who came to this Club because of the manager.”
