Jonas named in provisional World Cup squad
Town defender Jonas Knudsen has been named in Denmark’s provisional 35-man squad for this summer’s World Cup.
The 25-year-old won his third international cap in a friendly against Chile back in March – and his first since joining Blues.
Jonas is one of four Championship players to be named in the provisional squad along with Andreas Bjelland (Brentford), Henrik Dalsgaard (Brentford) and Kenneth Zohore (Cardiff).
And he is the second Town player to be named in a provisional squad after Bartosz Bialkowski was called up by Poland last week.
Denmark face Sweden in a friendly on June 2 and Mexico on June 9 before the finals in Russia five days later.
