TOWN LET CROWE GO

17 May 2018

Keeper to move on along with Patterson, Hayes and Blanchfield

Young ‘keepers Michael Crowe and Nick Hayes are free to find new clubs.

With the option taken up on Bartosz Bialkowski for another year, Dean Gerken making good progress as he recovers from hip surgery and Blues also exercising a 12 month extension on Academy graduate Harry Wright’s deal, the Club has decided not to offer the duo new contracts.

Wales U21 international Michael was on the bench as cover for Bart for much of the second half of the season with Dean injured but did not feature in first-team action, while Nick was part of the U23 squad.

Fellow Academy graduate James Blanchfield has also been released, along with another youngster, Monty Patterson, who made one senior appearance for Town as a substitute in the Carabao Cup defeat at Crystal Palace.
