Club hosts two day recruitment chance for youngsters
Town are offering young players the opportunity for a free trial to the Player Development Programme (PDP) for the 2018/19 season, starting in September. If the player trials successfully they will be invited on to the programme.
Please note the PDP is a fee paying coaching programme, offering two blocks of 15 weeks coaching from September to January and February to May across the season. Further details of the programme can be found at www.itfcpdp.co.uk
There are eight different centres across Suffolk and north east Essex (Portman Road; Walsham-Le-Willows; Haverhill; Sudbury; Lowestoft; Tiptree; Newmarket and Bury St. Edmunds) the trials will be held at Portman Road only.
Successful trialists can be offered places at a centre closer to home. The trial dates and times are as follows: -
Thursday 28th June 2018 for outfield players only
6 to 7pm: U6 (yr1); U7 (yr2); U8 (yr3); U9 (yr4)
7 to 8pm: U10 (yr5); U11 (yr6); U12 (yr7)
8 to 9pm: U13 (yr8); U14 (yr9); U15 (yr10)
Friday 29th June 2018 for goalkeepers only
6 to 7pm: U6 (yr1); U7 (yr2); U8 (yr3); U9 (yr4); U10 (yr5); U11 (yr6)
7 to 8pm: U12 (yr7); U13 (yr8); U14 (yr9); U15 (yr10)

There will be no confirmation email issued. Your reply will secure a trial on your chosen date time. Please be aware that spaces are limited.
Apologies if you have completed a trial request via the PDP website, your reply will assist with the smooth administration of the trial process, ensuring your son gains a place.
Please report to Gate 1, Sir Alf Ramsey Way, Ipswich IP1 2DA 15 minutes prior to the start time for registration. Your son should wear astro boots or moulded sole football boots, shin pads, (goalkeepers to bring gloves), bring a drink and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
The outcome of the trial will be emailed to you no later than one week from the trial date.
