Legends in attendance at Portman Road for screen showing

Portman Road will welcome back the memories of a football legend tonight with around 800 people attending the screen showing of Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager.

Taking place one week before the official release in select theatres from May 31, an audience will have the chance to see a special pitchside screening in honour of the former Town and England boss - and in support of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

The event will feature an exclusive Q&A with other Town legends, Terry Butcher, Mick Mills and John Wark and an appearance from Sir Bobby’s widow, Lady Elsie Robson and son, Mark.

Doors open at 7pm with entry via Gate 17 in Portman Road. Tickets cost £20 (including a £5 donation to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation) and are available tonight from turnstile 6 in Portman Road.

The film lasts 90 minutes and includes contributions from Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Ronaldo, Paul Gascoigne, Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker as well as never-before-seen archive footage and an emotional testimony from Lady Elsie.

Please note no large bags will be allowed into the stadium. Catering facilities are available.
